Scientist Shows What Space Aliens Will Really Look Like - Mysterious Universe

Dr. Brian Choo of Flinders University focuses his research on events 360 to 445 million years ago, give or take a few million. In his spare time, he seems to go just as unimaginably far afield in space. The link is Choo's interest in vertebrate evolution, and space aliens are at the moment "cooler" than Silurian and Devonian period marine life. Teaming up with artist Steven Grice, Choo has produced an intriguing depiction of a potential alien life form and type of plant life that could perhaps dwell on one of the recently-discovered worlds of the red dwarf Trappist-1 star system. Interesting speculation, but don't expect to see one of these guys piloting a "Sport Model" soon. (WM)
