Peru: A Dozen UFOs Suspend Flights in Peru's Jorge Chavez Airport - Inexplicata

Flight operations at Peru's main international and domestic airport were suspended for at least three hours one evening last month, according to conversations between the control tower and pilots who were unable to take-off or land. This event is even more unusual in that the organization that operates this and other airports in Peru documented it, and that, according to the article, while both radar and night vision noted unknowns, they could not be seen by the unaided eye. Hopefully more will be disclosed at a conference Peruvian ufologist Mario Zegarra will hold on March 11th in Miraflores, a district of the capital Lima. Over at Open Minds, Roger Marsh gives us some interesting Pennsylvania reports. Low Flying UFO Spotted over Gettysburg comes from a retired federal employee and army veteran who had a cigarette break interrupted by a low and fast-moving object at 4 a.m. on February 26. He gave a fairly detailed account with evidence of considerable thought behind his estimates. In Pennsylvania Witness Reports Unusual Lights 'Beaming to Ground' a Cumberland County resident had a pair of unnerving early morning experiences, the first in November of last year, the second on January 7. Both events involved unusual lights and apparent effects on the witness' canine companion. Coincidentally or not, the woman suffered a strange wound at or soon after the latter event. Interesting and a little scary reading. (WM)
